The Australian Lemon Myrtle is a flowering tree endemic to the sub-tropical rainforests of Queensland and New South Wales. It has always been considered a high value plant by the Australian Aboriginal People, both as a culinary addition to food preparation and as a healing agent in the treatment of wounds.<\/p>\n

The most noticeable quality of this plant is it\u2019s distinct, crisp lemon aroma due to it\u2019s high concentration of the compound citral \u2013 more potent than either tea-tree or eucalyptus – making it both anti-bacterial and anti-fungal.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
